Where there’s a villa, there’s a way. Boltzmann Strasse 3 — the former Kaiser Wilhelm Institute of Biology — was the first building of Freie Universität. It is one of numerous villas in Dahlem that were used by various institutes of the university during the first decades, before new buildings could be constructed.
