Another year filled with highs and lows is coming to a close. We celebrated the seventy-fifth anniversary of Freie Universität Berlin this year with music, laughter, lively debate, and more. 

But 2023 also saw tragedies, wars, and conflicts across the world, the consequences of which have also had an immense impact on our community.

As the year draws to an end, we hope for peace as well as the space for quiet contemplation and reflection, so that we can all enter into the new year with renewed strength and courage.
