This talk explores the complex and contentious relationship between Zionism and antisemitism, focusing on how accusations of antisemitism have been weaponized by numerous factions within the Zionist movement. The discussion will delve into historical and contemporary contexts, examining the impact of this tactic on political discourse, freedom of speech, and the global perception of the current situation in Gaza, Palestine and Israel. The consequences of using antisemitism as a political tool, as well as the ethical implications for genuine efforts to combat antisemitism will be discussed. The talk aims to foster critical thinking and open dialogue on a sensitive but critical social justice issue.
