Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will act as director of the newly created Institute for Animal Genetics. They will also carry out research in the field of animal breeding and genetics, teach in the subject “Animal Breeding and Genetics, Including Animal Judging” within the Staatsexamen (state examination) veterinary medicine degree program that licenses graduates to practice veterinary medicine in accordance with the German Veterinarian Licensing Regulations (Verordnung zur Approbation von Tierärztinnen und Tierärzten), and cover teaching in the equine science bachelor’s degree program.
