Data Explorers: Network Time Series Adventure
Have you ever wondered about the fascinating connection between students‘ social interactions and how well they are doing in school? In the dynamic landscape of Big Data, we now have the tools to model and understand the impact of various networks—be it friendship networks, online social networks, traffic networks, and beyond. These networks hold the key to predicting and addressing real-world challenges.
In this workshop, you will embark on an exciting journey into the world of network analysis with data science methods. You will unravel the seasonal and temporal patterns embedded within different network time series, explore interdependence reflected in the data, and detect unusual events.
The Girls'Day 2024 starts with an introductory event, where you e.g. will get to know the Freie Universität Berlin a bit better. Afterwards we will accompany you your workshop. We are looking forward seeing you there!
The Zuse Institut Berlin is a non-university research institute for applied mathematics, which is located on the campus of the Freie Universität Berlin.
