Between Discipline and Interdisciplinarity
The lecture will address the oscillation between discipline and interdisciplinarity in contemporary literary theory, in particular narratology. It will also address conceptual issues, like: What is a discipline? What is interdisciplinarity? What types of interaction between disciplines are possible? What are the advantages and disadvantages of each?
