The Faculties of Arts and Education of the University of Murcia are offering new internship opportunities.
The University of Murcia offers 18 grants for students to carry out internships as foreign language conversation assistants in its faculties and services.
Internship Duration and Dates
- Full academic year: 16/09/2025 - 15/06/2026
- First semester: 16/09/2025 - 31/01/2026
- Second semester: 01/02/2026 - 15/06/2026
Who can apply?
Students or graduates from universities that are partners in the Erasmus+ Traineeship Programme, even if they have previously participated in mobility programmes (Erasmus Studies, Traineeships, or others).
Participation limit: Maximum of 12 months of Erasmus mobility per study cycle.

Requirements to participate
To benefit from the established grant, you must meet ALL of the following requirements:

Erasmus+ Traineeship Selection
You must have been selected in the Erasmus+ Traineeship Programme to teach a foreign language at the University of Murcia. -
Acceptance Letter
You must have the official acceptance letter issued by the University of Murcia. -
Authorization from Your Home University
You must have your home university¿s approval to carry out:- 9 months, or
- 4.5 months of internship.

Erasmus+ Documentation
You must have completed:- The Erasmus+ Learning Agreement for Language Assistants.
- The automatic registration in the mobility system.

Start of the Internship
You must have started your internship under the supervision of a tutor assigned by the University of Murcia.
Commitments of Selected Language Assistants

Teaching Activities
Carry out at least 12 hours of classroom practice per week, including:-
Teaching the language as a foreign language.

Activities such as:
- Conversational practice.
- Promoting the culture and civilization of your country/language area.
- Other similar activities.
The internship will take place under the direct supervision of teaching staff.
Weekly schedules may be adjusted, provided the average of 12 hours per week is maintained throughout the period. -

Tutorial Support
Attend at least 2 hours of weekly tutorials with University of Murcia teaching staff to assist with student inquiries. -
Early Withdrawal
In case of early withdrawal from the internship:- Notify via email to: becas@um.es and incoming@um.es
- Copy your coordinator and tutor.
- Specify the exact date of withdrawal.
