Freie Universität Berlin Academic Writing Webinar for Social Scientists of the MENA Region
“If you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough”
Just as Albert Einstein said, you need to understand your topic very well before trying to explain it to others. In the course of explaining it, you might also need to write a paper about it. Here is where our upcoming “Academic writing workshop for social scientists of the MENA region” that will take place online on the 16th and 17th of December (4-7pm Cairo Local Time) might come in handy!
For the second time this year, the Freie Universität Berlin Cairo Liaison Office is delighted to organize an academic writing webinar for social scientists of the MENA region. If you are a postgraduate student that is trying to learn more about the different elements of the writing process, if you are worried about common violations while writing a paper that could jeopardize your written work – such as plagiarism – or if you simply need a refresher about the common characteristics of a good publishable paper go ahead and register here https://forms.gle/AsH2YC3r3SAWw94v6. Please also feel free to share this with your students who might benefit from this course.
This webinar will be co-instructed once again by our esteemed trainers Dr. Riham Bahi, Associate Prof. of Political Sciences at the Faculty of Economics and Political Sciences, Cairo University and Dr. Mustafa Abdalla, Research Associate at the Institute of Social and Cultural Anthropology, Freie Universität Berlin.
Kindly note that you need a computer or a mobile device with a supported camera, a microphone and speakers with a stable internet connection to be able to participate in the webinar.Deadline for registration is the coming Sunday, 13th December 2020.
