Opportunities
Graduate Program "Biodiversity, Evolution and Ecology"
A cutting-edge, interdisciplinary structured graduate Program in biodiversity research. Next closing date for application is 1st of February.
International Climate Protection Fellowship
The fellowships target prospective leaders in academia and industry to implement a research-based proposal in the field of climate protection or climate-related resource conservation during a one-year stay in Germany. Up to 20 International Climate Protection Fellowships are granted annually. The closing date for applications is 1 March 2020.
Four-years funded PhD Program by BSE
The Berlin School of Economics PhD Program offers four tracks: PhD in Economics and three business tracks (PhD in Accounting, PhD in Finance, and PhD in Management). PhD students will receive funding for the expected length of the program. Application deadline: February 15, 2020
Four PhD positions at BGTS
A three-year full-time English language structured PhD programme at the Berlin Graduate School for Global and Transregional Studies (BGTS). Deadline for submitting applications: 31 January 2020
Neurosciences in Berlin – International PhD Fellowships
A three-year doctoral degree program in English at Berlin School of Mind and Brain. Deadline for applications is 7 January 2020.
FUBiS: Registration for term ll & lll 2020 is open!
FUBiS - International Summer and Winter University of the Freie Universität Berlin - offers intensive and semi-intensive German language classes in summer and winter.
German-Egyptian Progress Partnership Programme
Programme Line 2: Short-term measures. Upcoming deadlines are 31/03/2020 and 30/06/2020.
BMS Call For Applications to the PhD Program
Get Your Math PhD in Berlin with a Bachelor’s degree or a Master's degree or equivalent. Scholarships are available. Application deadline: 1 April 2020.

Five days of lectures and workshops for master students, doctoral candidates and post-doctoral researcher with focus on political science, economics, law, history, sociology and cultural studies.

“Fake Medications: Challenges, Global Responses and Current Research”
Two-days workshop organized by the Cairo Liaison Office of FU Berlin on fake medications and its impact on researchو industry and patients. International scholars as well as representatives of the private and public pharma sector took part in the workshop to share and exchange their different perspectives. The second day was concluded by announcing the winner of the workshop's poster competition.
FU Berlin Proposal Writing Workshop at the Pearl of the Mediterranean
A one-day workshop in Alexandria on 21st of September 2019 organized by the Cairo Liaison Office and co-instructed by Dr. Riham Bahi, Cairo University and Dr. Mustafa Abdalla, Freie Universität Berlin on writing a successful proposal.
