The Cairo Liaison Offices of Freie Universität Berlin, Philipps-Universität Marburg and Technische Universität Berlin are delighted to invite prospective postdoc researchers of all disciplines to participate in the 3rd Workshop: “Your Postdoc Career in Germany - Opportunities for Outstanding Scientists” that will take place on the 23rd and 24th March 2021 between 1pm and 4.30pm via Zoom Webinar.
This year we are proud to be collaborating with a great number of institutions that provide various formats of support to outstanding postdoc researchers from the MENA region. These institutions include the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the DAAD, the Delegation of the European Union to Egypt, the Max-Planck Alumni Association Egypt, the Orient Institut Beirut and the Technische Universität München.
In our workshop you will receive first-hand information about the funding opportunities of the participating institutions and the programs and services each offers to excellent postdoc scholars. In addition, you will gain an insight on pursuing postdoc research in Germany in an international and competitive system. With presentations on the concept of “Leadership for postdocs in Germany” and what it means to “Design and manage research projects in Germany” your participation during these two days grants you an all-around package that will enable you to jumpstart your postdoc career in Germany.
If you are an outstanding postdoc scholar from any discipline (e.g. with publications in international journals; practical experience in projects; scientific awards; etc.) and have received your PhD degree within the past 8 years, we invite you to apply for this workshop!
