Bachelor's degree programs with special foreign language admission requirements in Italian and Spanish
For the degree programs Italian Philology / Italian Studies and Spanish Philology, knowledge of the respective language at level B1 CEFR is required. However, the study program can also be started without any knowledge of the language. If you have previous knowledge but no proof of it, you can have the level of your language skills checked in a placement test. The test will determine whether you can begin your studies directly or whether you must first complete a pre-study language course.
In order to apply for a higher semester in the above-mentioned study programs, prior knowledge of the language is absolutely necessary. Enrollment in a pre-study language course is not possible for admission to the higher subject semester.
