Volunteers select...

At Freie Universität Berlin, many individuals volunteer their time to support sustainable developments on campus, in teaching, or in research. What's special about this competition, which is also set to take place next year, is that some of these individuals select the most convincing application.

We're excited to introduce you to the people and initiatives behind the independent jury.

Do you want to make a difference too? Then get in touch with one of the jury members or visit our Get Involved page.

Green Libraries

Blooming Campus („Blühender Campus“)

"Blooming instead of short-cut" is our motto. Under the title "Blooming Campus", we want to bring together projects and people who have set themselves the goal of promoting biodiversity on campus.

FUdsharing: Fair-Teiler Point in Dahlem

The term FUdsharing was invented by SUSTAIN IT! as part of the preparations for the opening ceremony in November 2017. The play on words FU (Freie Universität) + Foodsharing = FUdsharing gave rise to the name for the Fair-Teiler, a room with shelves and a fridge where food can be brought and/or collected free of charge.
