Ten years ago, Freie Universität Berlin awarded its first Deutschlandstipendium scholarships. Since then, 80 donors have facilitated 800 scholarships, with their financial support matched by money from the German Federal Government. But along with offering financial help, the scholarship program has also created a community of people who share ideas and learn from one another.
