What We Offer

Promoting Skills
With the Career Service’s general professional skills courses (ABV), you expand your communicative skills and improve your self-management and time management. Practical methods, e.g. for conducting discussions and negotiations, presenting and moderating are offered with a focus on their application in professional life.

Combining Studies and Practice
The Career Service serves as a point of contact for businesses, organizations and institutions, that wish to place internship postings, publish career events, engage in joint projects or contribute to a practical orientation of academic study and teaching.

Preparing for Starting a Career
Whether you are still in the middle of your degree program or already have one foot in the working world: Workshops, talks, and presentations are a chance for you to prepare for applying for an internship or a job, hone your soft skills, get to know various working fields, and talk with employers.

International Career Service
The Career Service advises students planning to complete an internship abroad. International students who wish to gain professional experience in Germany or want to stay in Germany after their graduation receive support through events informing about entry opportunities.
