Visit to the Rundfunkchor Berlin

On June 9th, 2023, a group of alumni followed the invitation of Prof. Ernst Elitz and met for a visit at Haus des Rundfunks in Masurenallee. Prof. Ernst Elitz is chairman of the board of trustees and the shareholders' meeting of Rundfunk Orchester und Chöre gGmbH Berlin and, among other things, former director of Deutschlandradio. Mr. Elitz reported on the work of the Rundfunkchor and told interesting facts about the choir and historical background. After the talk, the group was allowed to take an exclusive look behind the scenes and attend a choir rehearsal with conductor Gijs Leenaars. Two days later the pieces were performed at Radialsystem. The visit was rounded off by a networking lunch on the roof terrace.
