You are studying a combined bachelor's degree, whereby both the 90-credit major subject and the 60-credit module are studied at Freie Universität Berlin, and you would like to swap them, i.e. your previously studied 90-credit major subject becomes the 60-credit module and vice versa. An exchange cannot be made during the first semester and is only possible if the desired new combination can also be studied (see combination options in the Bachelor's program).

Please check our website “Study Programs” to see whether one of your desired study program components is subject to admission restrictions. If this is the case, please apply within the application deadline via our application portal.

If this is not the case please enter the new desired combination on the application to change programs and submit it until 1st of March for a summer semester or 1st of September for a winter semester by e-mail to the Student Records and Registration Office.

In both cases please submit a classifications into the higher semester for each component of the combination, as well as a copy of your university entrance qualification (usually Abitur) by e-mail to the Student Records and Registration.
