If you have little or no prior language proficiency in Spanish, a two-semester pre-study language course will precede your regular course of study. If you apply with only little or no prior language knowledge, you will be enrolled directly in the pre-study language course (Vorstudiensprachkurs).
In case of existing previous knowledge on the level B1 CEFR in Spanish, this can be proven by appropriate certificates (Nachweise).
Otherwise, the language test for university applicants (Sprachtest für Studienbewerber*innen) held at the Language Center of the FU can be taken to prove the language level.
