FU Berlin uses the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS), an evaluation system based on workload and not just student attendance. Students are awarded a certain number of ECTS points for each course they complete. Please find further information on ECTS points here.

At the end of your stay abroad, you will receive a Transcript of Records. The transcript is an official document that lists the courses you have attended at the FU (including grades and ECTS points earned). The most important information and frequently asked questions are listed here.
