The application period for stays abroad beginning between the 1st of January 2026 and the 30th of June 2026 will take place between 6th of October 2025 and the 3rd of November 2025. Applications can be submitted during this period.

Two application rounds are held each year:

1. Beginning of October – Beginning of November

This application round is for students intending to go abroad in the first half of the following year. Their stay abroad should therefore begin between the 1st of January and the 30th of June of the following year. The application results will be announced approximately 6 weeks after the application period ends.

2. End of March/Beginning of April – End of April/Beginning of May

This application round is for students intending to go abroad in the second half of the same year. Their stay abroad should therefore begin between the 1st of July and the 31st of December of the same year. The application results will be announced approximately 6 weeks after the application period ends.

• Late applications cannot be considered.
• Retroactive funding is not possible.
