Do not include spaces or special characters (e.g. umlaut characters). Spaces may be replaced by low lines. German umlaut characters may be replaced according to traditional German convention (ä=ae, ö=oe, ü=ue).

Another way to name your file is simply thesis_name.pdf – where you replace "name" with your name.
