Due to high demand, the publication fund for books for the year 2025 has unfortunately already been exhausted. Due to budget cuts (please see here), open access books cannot be funded until further notice from October 1, 2025. We will continue to process publication projects submitted up to and including September 30, 2025, provided that your application includes all necessary documents. The publication fund for books is expected to be open for applications again from January 2026. We thank you for your understanding and will inform you on this page as soon as book projects can be funded again.

Open access books from DFG-funded projects are generally excluded from this regulation. Please contact edocs@ub.fu-berlin.de for more information.
