Projects in 2025

This years jury selected five projects for funding from the applications submitted in December. Scientific and university staff as well as students from the departments of psychology and educational science, physics, veterinary medicine, the Margaretha von Brentano Center and political science are involved in these projects.

Save the Date: On June 19, 2025, these project teams will present their interim results and look forward to your feedback for further development by the end of 2025. Details about this event will be published under FUturist.

FUFLINTAΦ

The project aims to give visibility to women and FLINTA people in science and establish a link to science identity.

Teaching project “Sustainably impactful”. Strengthening democracy through science communication

Analyze the connection between the democratic crisis and anti-group narratives and develop communicative counter-strategies - with your own small science communication projects.

Bicycle fund for repair and reuse

For a long-term pool of used bicycle parts to repair bicycles on the FU campus in a resource-saving, local, self-determined and cost-effective way.

Rain barrel heroes: Saving rainwater together and helping trees via cooperative teaching-learning strategies

Recognize and promote the connection of water cycles on the FU campus through cooperative teaching-learning strategies.

Lawn mower - a razor-sharp project

A project that combines sustainable green space maintenance with enrichment for humans and animals and also contributes to the preservation of old livestock breeds.
