2025 Mobility Survey
The Unit for Sustainability and Energy Management developed a second mobility survey together with Dr. Jan Keller and members of the AMBER research group (“Active Mobility for Maintained Benefits of Health and Environment.”)
This survey picks up where the previous one, which was carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2022, left off.
Freie Universität Berlin wants to know how people’s use of transportation has changed since then. The survey addresses the current needs and wishes of members of Freie Universität Berlin regarding mobility with a view to improving infrastructure, especially to promote sustainable mobility.
The topic of inclusive mobility was also included in the latest survey in order to get an overview of the current situation and identify areas for improvement. The survey forms part of the FUturRad project funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy through its National Climate Initiative (NKI). This project will help the university acquire more company bikes and e-bikes by 2027, as well as improve bicycle infrastructure and mobility communication.
