“Promotion im Dialog” (Dialogue on doctoral education) offers stakeholders and interested members of Freie Universität Berlin a forum for exchange, networking, and joint development of good practices in doctoral education.
The first session on the topic of Good Supervision will take place on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.: https://www.fu-berlin.de/en/sites/drs/forum/online-series/index.html. No registration is required to participate!
Who are the stakeholders?
We consider stakeholders to be all individuals and groups involved in or representing interests related to the doctoral process at Freie Universität Berlin, for example:

supervisors

doctoral researchers and postdocs
-
staff in doctoral offices, graduate centers, and doctoral programs

departmental administrators (deans’ offices, doctoral boards, examinations offices)

colleagues from central divisions and facilities

representative bodies such as the doctoral council and members of academic committees
All of these groups are warmly invited to participate in the exchange forum Promotion im Dialog (dialogue on doctoral education).
