The Scientific Advisory Board is appointed by the Permanent Commission for a term of two years based on recommendations from the Executive Board. The Scientific Advisory Board is responsible for advising the DRS on all important issues relating to quality standards and the promotion of early career researchers, as well as making recommendations for the further development of the DRS. The Scientific Advisory Board meets once a year.
