In this 4-hour workshop, you will gain a practical overview of the basics of starting a business – designed specifically for international students. Through real-life founder stories, you will see what is possible in Germany. You will learn which bureaucratic requirements and legal aspects (e.g. residence permits and first bureaucratic steps) are important, get to know available support and reflect on your strengths to decide whether entrepreneurship is the right option for you – and what next steps you could take.

- German startup system:
- First bureaucratic steps
- Legal aspects: Residence permits & entrepreneurship – Who is allowed to start a business in Germany, and how?
- Overview of legal forms (GbR, UG, etc.)
- Support & resources: From advisory services to funding opportunities
- Reflection: Does entrepreneurship fit my personality, strengths & values? Which problems do I want to solve?
- Review & outlook: What are my next steps? No prior knowledge required – curiosity is enough!
