How can I renew my registration?
Please log in in your Self-Service portal via the my.FU Portal. Here you get all information about the prerequisites for re-registration and the payment of the semester fees.
Note: Please note: When submitting your payment only state the purpose specified to you in your Self-Services portal. Do not provide any additional information. Otherwise your payment cannot be allocated.Re-registration will only take place once the full amount has been credited to the account of Freie Universität Berlin and all other requirements have been met. Please note that the semester fees must be credited to the account of Freie Universität Berlin by the deadline and take into account any bank transit times (also for online transfers). Otherwise, the de-registration procedure will be initiated.
If you miss the deadline, a late fee of €19.94 will be charged. This fee will be included in the amount displayed in the self-service. Please only transfer the amount shown in the self-service!
The late fee does not apply if a change of degree program is requested for the following semester, e.g. when changing from a Bachelor's to a Master's degree.
After re-registration, you can download proof of enrollment and fee receipts via Self-Service. Your documents remain in the self-service for the duration of your enrollment and can be accessed at any time. You should save these documents.
