No. You can use the Campuscard, once issued, during the entirety of your studies at Freie Universität Berlin. All you need to do is re-validate the card once per semester.

You can validate the Campuscard as soon as your re-registration process is complete. You will be advised of this by e-mail, or you can check your current re-registration status in the portal at any time.
