Unrestricted admissions for undergraduate degree programs
Our study programs for which you can enroll without a selection procedure
If it is expected that not all study places in a subject will be allocated, all those who meet the admission requirements (university entrance qualification and, if applicable, language skills) can enroll.
Enrollment procedure
With these steps, you can enroll for undergraduate degree programs with unrestricted degree programs until September 1st, 2025:
1. Register for an applicant account in application portal of Freie Universtität Berlin and select your desired study program. You can do everything online and see which data you need to enter for enrollment in the questionnaire.
2. After completing the online data entry, you can download the notification and application for enrollment and the control view from the online data entry from the application portal.
3. Submit everything together with your personal certificates and other documents by the deadline of September 1st, 2025 via email to imma-bachelor@studium.fu-berlin.de.
Please note if you have a non-German university entrance qualification: You must first apply via uni-assist, where your certificates will be checked and your application will be forwarded to Freie Universität Berlin. Then you will be asked to create an account in the application portal of Freie Universtität Berlin and you may follow step 1-3 above.You can find more detailed information on the enrollment procedure in the enrollment guide or in the FAQ.

Please note that proof of language skills may be required. You can find information on this by clicking on the desired subject.
