The application period for study abroad in the winter semester 2026/27 and/or summer semester 2027 through the Erasmus+ Study Europe and Swiss-European Mobility programs is from December 1, 2025 to January 31, 2026.
Exceptions: The application period for students of the School of Business and Economics March 1, 2026 to March 15, 2026.
The application period for students of the Department of Law ends on December 1, 2025.
The application period for students from the Charité ends on November 30, 2025.

Applications for an Erasmus+ study exchange to the United Kingdom are not yet possible for the 2026/27 academic year. Exchange places in the UK are therefore currently still being offered through the Direct Exchange Program (application deadline for 2026/27: January 20, 2026).
It is not yet clear whether Erasmus+ study exchanges to the UK will be possible from the 2027/28 academic year onwards and, if so, for which FU degree programs and through which FU Institutes/Departments.
As soon as more information is available, it will be announced on our website and at our information events (Go Out Day in June, Erasmus+ Information Day in November) and communicated to the Erasmus+ Coordinators at the Institute/Department.
