Internship as a recent Graduate
Students who wish to complete an internship after completing their studies apply for funding as part of a graduate internship. When applying, please note that the student must still be enrolled at the time of application, but must be exmatriculated at the start of the internship. The application form must state that the student will be exmatriculated for the entire duration of the internship. In the Learning Agreement, point 3 must also be ticked under “Table B - Sending Institution”.
Please note that a graduate internship can only be completed within the first year after graduation.
If you are already being funded for a student internship or are to be funded but are exmatriculated before or during the student internship, a new application that complies with the application deadline must be submitted. The funding for the student internship will then be terminated. In order to avoid this, it is important to ensure that the correct information on the type of internship planned (either student or graduate internship) is provided in the application.
