Additional Scholarships

For BA students: 4 semester scholarships at MX$12,500 per month for 4 months (The amount for 2026/27 has not been fixed).

For MA students: 4 semester scholarships at MX$14,191 per month for 4 months. (The amount for 2026/27 has not been fixed).

ATTENTION: All BA students must have a grade point average of 8.5/10 (2.1 or better) and at least 30% of their total number of credit points in the transcript of records at the time of application to UNAM (usually in March for the winter semester or in August for the spring semester).
At the start of the program at UNAM in August or March, at least 40% of the credit points must be presented.
A Spanish certificate (B2 in all categories) issued by the FU Language Centre is sufficient for application within the direct exchange programme.
As soon as students start their studies at UNAM, they will be asked to obtain a SIELE language certificate in order to fulfil the official language requirements of UNAM.
If Spanish language skills are not sufficient for a SIELE certificate, the student will be asked to attend a intensive Spanish course (free of cost) at CEPE-UNAM during the semester to acquire the necessary skills.

MA students can only enrol in a Master's programme at UNAM. Unfortunately, it is not possible to change to another degree programme on site.
