Proof of language proficiency for the English-Asia Program:

 language certificate from the Language Center of the FU Berlin B2.

Proof of language proficiency for the Japanese-Japan Program:

For participation in English-taught academic courses: none

For participation in Japanese-taught academic courses: JLPT N2 or N1

It is possible to participate in the JLSP program (without prior knowledge, focus on language acquisition) or in the regular course offering. It is possible to combine specialized courses with language courses. Please check in advance whether there are enough English-taught courses available for your degree programme before submitting your application. A limited number of classes taught in English are offered exclusively at the following colleges:

Humanities and Sciences, Economics, Commerce, International Relations

Duration: September - December or January - March

Additional Scholarships:

Nihon University awards one scholarship for living expenses scholarship amounting to approximately 850€ per month and an additional ~300€ per semester. 

Additional Costs:

Students must provide proof of funds amounting to $7500 in order to obtain a visa.
