You can take out private health insurance or be privately insured through your parents. In this case, you must be exempted from the statutory insurance obligation and contact a German statutory health insurance provider for this purpose so that they can report your insurance status to us electronically. In this case, please select the option "no insurance" when enrolling. This exemption is valid for the entire duration of your studies in Germany and cannot be revoked.
