The EHIC, GHIC or the AT11 form must be issued by the insurance company in the home country and must be presented to one of the statutory health insurance providers in Germany in order to obtain an exemption certificate. This exemption is valid for the entire duration of your studies in Germany and cannot be revoked. Please contact a German statutory health insurance provider as soon as possible. The health insurance provider will then send us a notification of your insurance status. In this case, please select "No insurance" during enrollment.
