I have applied for a master's program, what's the next step?

Applications for Master's programs are reviewed in two steps. First, a formal review of all documents takes place. After a successful formal review, the applications are released for further review by the responsible selection officers of the departments. The selection officers make the final decision on the fulfillment of the admission requirements according to the admission statutes (degree, if applicable, language skills, other achievements and certificates).
If it is determined during the formal examination that the application documents are faulty or illegible or do not meet the requirements, the application will not be forwarded to the department, but will be provisionally excluded with reasons for rejection. Some reasons for rejection are "curable" within the application deadline (e.g. a subsequent submission of higher-level language certificates to fulfill the admission requirements). Therefore, it is possible to withdraw an application within the deadline visible in the portal, revise it by adding new documents, and submit it again.
