Business trips are a major source of CO2 emissions at Higher Education Institutions. Inspired by the students and scientist engaged in the Fridays for Future-movement, scientists as well as management and administrative staff of Freie Universität Berlin can now show their commitment by joining the campaign to forego air travel for shorter distances (up to 1,000 km) and opt for the more climate-friendly train or virtual communication instead.
