It aims to establish the scale of emissions attributed to business travel in the higher education sector, support changes to travel behaviour at an individual, institutional, and sector wide level and generally reduce carbon emissions related to business travel in the higher education sector.

The Roundtable network is led by the University of Edinburgh, with support from ETH Zurich, The University of Zurich, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, and the Paul Scherrer Institute.
