As part of our theme "The future is now: Driving Sustainable Development”, which focuses on the key issues: Energy and Mobility, we have prepared a great supporting program in addition to our workshops.

During the conference, the comfortable reading corner invites you to browse texts and explore writing on sustainability issues from colleagues around the world.

Sustain It! initiative invites you to virtually grow our network by planting a seed which will be transferred to our university garden.

From Monday to Wednesday, all participants have the opportunity to try out our "bicycle ergometer," an electricity-generating indoor bicycle that has been in the Freie Universität philological library since the beginning of the year under the motto "Movement Promotes Learning". The bicycle ergometer keeps you in shape, activates your brain, and additionally generates electricity when cycling that is sufficient to charge smartphones or other mobile devices. Try it for yourself.
