Working Program

The project organizes the sharing of experiences and knowledge between experts from the research sector and equal treatment practice, stakeholders involved in diversity projects at higher education institutions, and university administrations. During moderated subject-specific discussions, they engage in dialogue as experts on issues and questions and work out findings that are relevant to developing diversity strategies for real-world practice.

Three formats have been established for this form of participatory knowledge generation through specialized discussion. Each format stands for a different knowledge base.

Three Knowledge Formats

  • Specialized discussions with participants involved in diversity projects and representatives of interest groups. These people have specialized knowledge and expertise relating to the mechanisms of discrimination and experience with anti-discrimination projects.

  • Specialized discussions with gender equality and equal opportunity officers and advocates, employees of staff units who have experience with diversity, and diversity officers. These people have specialized knowledge and expertise relating to equal treatment and equal treatment policy at higher education institutions.

  • Specialized discussions with university presidents, vice rectors, and chancellors. In their role as university administrators with an affinity for diversity, these people have leadership experience and knowledge of management for planning and implementing higher education reforms and tackling intersectional tasks such as gender and diversity.
