André Hammelmann is a scholar of German and Cultural Studies. He holds a master’s degree in European Ethnology and Teaching German as a Foreign Language from Humboldt University of Berlin and a PhD in German Studies from King’s College London. He has taught at universities in Germany, the United Kingdom, and Mexico, including the Freie Universität Berlin, King’s College London, and the National Autonomous University of Mexico, where he served as a DAAD Lecturer. His teaching has a strong focus on German language, culture, film, and literature in transnational and interdisciplinary perspectives.
