More than 90 percent of the 130 DRS Postdoc Fellows, who completed their projects by December 2018, were successful in finding a suitable follow-up position.

All DRS Postdocs received mentorship from senior researchers, managed their own research budget which especially strengthened their independence as researchers, and had access to DRS training to prepare for future tasks and responsibilities of their academic career. 

Added value: DRS Postdoc Alumni have so far raised over 7 Million Euro in third-party funding for Freie Universität Berlin. In addition, the host projects - Freie Universität’s Focus Areas, Excellence Projects and DRS doctoral programs - report many benefits, such as new perspectives, knowledge, and expertise, as well as an increase in innovative project ideas and international co-operations.
