Congratulations to Barbara Vetter, Professor of Theoretical Philosophy at Freie Universität Berlin, on receiving the Leibniz Prize 2026 of the German Research Foundation. The award recognizes her work on the theory of modality. Further information about the award can be found in Freie Universität's press release. Barbara Vetter is also the recipient, together with linguist Malte Rosemeyer of Freie Universität, of a DHC Network grant which supports the establishment of a network of researchers examining questions concerning the practical function of modality.
