Please note: It is not necessary to provide an academic reference letter for the funding period 2023/2024 due to the pandemic.

You can ask any lecturer or instructor whose course you successfully completed during the previous semester (first six months of your funding period) to fill out the academic reference letter.

Please give the form that we have sent you to your chosen referee. It does not have to be an in-depth academic reference. We just need a short assessment of your performance.

Your referee can either send us the academic reference via email to deutschlandstipendium@fu-berlin.de or hand it into our office.
