Supporting Young Talents

Deutschlandstipendium scholarships offer gifted students from any country and social background enrolled at Freie Universität a way to focus completely on their studies. The aid program Deutschlandtipendium was established by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) in 2011 and supports talented young people with 300 euros per month. This funding, jointly provided by private donors and the government, eases the financial burden on students, freeing them to achieve their academic goals, while also strengthening the networks between the business sector, academia, and the wider society that are increasingly important in our ability to overcome future challenges.
