Questions for FUB members

Depending on the purpose and duration of the planned stay, there are various funding programs available. FUB has a number of funding lines of its own, however, it is also possible to apply for scholarships from external funding organizations. Further information can be found here.

Please visit the websites of our partner universities to see if they offer interesting contact opportunities for you. Else, you are of course welcome to contact all other possible institutions in India. In addition to its contacts to partner universities, the New Delhi Liaison Office also maintains cooperation with numerous German and Indian science and funding organisations (DFG, DAAD, etc.). Please contact us for a personal consultation!

Even in the case of funding through FU funding instruments, the organization and implementation of a stay or project must be carried out by the participant(s) themselves. Both the Delhi Liaison Office and the Center for International Cooperation at FUB are happy to provide advice.

Depending on your status group and the status of your guest, there are various options for inviting members of Indian universities to FUB. Test scholarships for Master's students for the purpose of possible admission to a doctorate at FUB, inviting professors* via the Global Faculty Program, or a joint workshop according to the Matching Funds principle are just a few of the possible formats. For an overview of all FUB internal and external funding opportunities, please visit the page Indian University Members to the FU.
