Freie Universität Berlin has signed partnership agreements (Memorandum of Understanding - MoU) with the University of Delhi, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), the University of Hyderabad, and IIT Madras regarding graduate programs for Master’s and doctoral students. Scholarships are available that provide support for a semester abroad or an entire academic year. Please note that the academic year in Berlin and India does not have the same start and end dates. For details regarding deadlines, the application process, and scholarship amounts, interested students should contact the international office at their university.

Freie Universität professors also have the option of inviting colleagues from India to Berlin as part of the Global Faculty Program or through a Flexible Funds request.
