Info Session: Entering the Job Market for Students of Japanese Studies

Students of Japanese Studies and all interested disciplines are warmly invited to an informational session on career entry opportunities for Japanologists in Germany. The event is organized by the Japanese Studies program (Political and Economic Affairs of Japan division).

We are pleased to welcome two guest speakers:

  • Fabienne Schneider from the Career Management office, and

  • Lisa Sprenger from ADENI,
    representing two of the most prominent recruitment agencies specializing in placements with Japanese companies in Germany.

What to Expect:

  • Insights into the structure of the job market for Japanologists

  • Introduction to key companies and typical job profiles

  • Practical advice on how to prepare for a smooth transition from university to employment

  • Effective strategies for a successful job application process
