You are invited to join the growing volunteer community of Need4Deed, a project that supports refugees living in accommodation centers in Berlin, by connecting them with volunteers based on their specific needs. Refugees living in Berlin's accommodation centers have various needs, including: daycare, playing sports with children, helping with homework (Nachhilfe), organizing arts & crafts activities, German Sprachcafés and gardening, among others. Support in these activities are usually needed once a week or a couple times a month, for 2 hours approximately. Furthermore, many need translation support and accompaniment to doctors or government offices. So that would be more of an "on call" type of support, for people speaking German and languages that are relevant (e.g., Arabic, Ukrainian, Persian, Turkish, etc.). In this case, you register and Need4Deed will let you know once the need appears.
