From 17 to 21 November 2025, Freie Universität Berlin welcomed a second delegation from the University of Namibia (UNAM). Following the leadership visit during the previous week, this stay focused on deepening academic contacts and developing new avenues for collaboration.

The delegation included representatives from several faculties and administrative units, covering fields such as business, law, natural sciences, political science, biosciences, accounting, and international relations. Throughout the week, the guests met with central units of Freie Universität – including the Center for International Cooperation, Dahlem Research School, the Berlin University Alliance, and the International Office – discussing topics such as early-career support, study structures, sustainability, and international cooperation.

The programme also included visits to the DAAD office in Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and Technische Universität Berlin. The visit highlighted the growing mutual interest in strengthening cooperation in research, teaching, and internationalization. Several new areas of collaboration were identified and will be further explored in the coming months.
